Support the setup, operation, and strike of audiovisual equipment* * for meetings and corporate events * Collaborate with onsite event staff and team members to ensure events run smoothly and exceed client expectations * Deliver exceptional client service in a hospitality-focused environment * Assist with audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems used during meetings and events * Troubleshoot basic technical issues quickly and efficiently * Maintain and organize AV equipment inventory * Perform routine maintenance on audiovisual equipment * Communicate equipment repair or replacement needs to the Mills James Logistics Manager * Provide direction or support to additional event staff when assigned What You Bring The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the job successfully. * A professional appearance and positive attitude in a high-service event environment * Basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and computer systems* * used for meetings and events * Understanding of AV signal flow * Experience with video conferencing platforms or IT systems is a plus * Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills * Excellent attention to detail and strong troubleshooting ability * Proficiency with Microsoft Office * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * Ability to drive cargo vans or box trucks when required * Availability to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends based on event schedules At least one year of experience in the audiovisual or live events industry Why Join Us At Mills James, we believe exceptional events start with exceptional people.
