Key Responsibilities:Respond to employee inquiries via phone and email, escalating complex inquiries, as neededSupport LMS administration, including client setup and trainingAssist with recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, job descriptions, compensation benchmarks, and FLSA assessmentsConduct handbook interviews and draft employee handbooksParticipate in HR assessments and prepare supporting documentationContribute to audits, investigations, and training material developmentStay current on employment laws and HR best practicesMeet or exceed annual billable hours targetWrite articles for HR Focus and HR Special AlertsQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field and a minimum 2 years of HR or employment law experience or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training and/or education SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferredSkills and AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communicationStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to interpret and explain employment law clearlyHigh initiative and problem-solving mindsetProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to travel locally as neededWork Environment:Hybrid role requiring a minimum 3 days/week in office The compensation range for this position is $26-$30/hr.
