Physical Demands: Frequent district-wide travel, occasional regional and state-wide travel, work indoors and outdoors to conduct on-site inspections of stadiums/fields, examinations, and visits to sites and schools; frequent prolonged and irregular hours; steady phone interactions; frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and minor lifting and carrying of small stacks of textbooks, media, or athletic equipment, desks, and other classroom or athletic equipment. Instruction is conducted in a two-way immersion program where teachers fluent in English teach ELA and those fluent in Spanish teach SLA and are supported by teacher aides with a strong command of both languages.
