Some of your specific responsibilities could include: • Investigate claims that involve complex liability issues on domestic and multinational claims • Input and maintain accurate claims records for designated accounts, within appropriate AzC Claims administration systems • Select and direct independent external service providers (e.g., Lawyers, Independent Adjusters, Experts) • Evaluate and address coverage issues and determine appropriate reserving levels • Negotiate and resolve high exposure, complex claims ensuring cost effective, service orientated solutions • Support training, developing and coaching of less experienced staff • Ensure all claims handled within authority limits, and in line with AzC Claims complex procedures and guidelines • Refer cases outside of authority level, preparing referral documentation and materials as appropriate • Support establishment of claims management procedures on new business accounts in association with clients, brokers and loss adjusters • Proactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including client and broker negotiations where necessary). 5-7 years' experience in proven track record in handling Liability claims involving complex coverage and damage issues Demonstrate established relationships with brokers at peer group level and well established within local market Have an expert understanding of Liability products and portfolio, with expert understanding of coverage and application in the adjustment process In-depth understanding of regional / local Liability insurance markets and competitor landscape Detailed understanding of legal and regulatory framework Experience working in a complex, global matrix organization The ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency, and contribute to data-driven decision-making is valuable Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
