The Orthopedic Certified Athletic Trainer performs other related duties which includes, but is not limited to: obtaining pertinent patient medical history, developing a plan of care, medication preparation and administration, phlebotomy, obtaining vital signs, suture/staple removal, bracing, splinting, and casting. Responsibilities: The Orthopedic Certified Athletic Trainer will work in conjunction with a licensed physician to carry out the practice of preventing, recognizing, evaluating, managing, disposing, treating, reconditioning, or rehabilitating athletic injuries.
