Qualifications: Preferred Associate's Degree 3 years of relevant experience Independent Surgical Technologist Practice Required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC client 90 Days required CRT-Surgical Technologist, Certified (CST) - NBSTSA National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Upon Hire required Or CRT-Tech in Surgery (TS-C) - NCCT National Center for Competency Testing Tech in Surgery, Certified TS-C, NCCT Upon Hire required Takes an active role in preference card building and management through communication with surgeons and EMIs Engages with surgeons to make suggestions regarding instrument sets (i.e. streamlining sets by removing instruments, combining sets, adding instruments that are always opened separately, etc) Actively engages in case costing by talking with surgeons regarding product usage, connects with EMIs to make cost savings suggestions, makes suggestions on how to eliminate waste on cases.
