ESSENTIAL DUTIES ARE: Appropriately evaluates (initially and periodically throughout care) client in areas of range of motion/flexibility; postural alignment, muscle strength and endurance; sensation, reflexes, neurovascular status; soft tissue, bony palpation, passive joint mobilization; body mechanics and work efficiency; wound care; cardiopulmonary function; sitting and standing balance; mobility and gait training; and safety. Treats clients to develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance using physical means such as: therapeutic exercise, range of motion, coordination exercise, balance exercise, gait and transfer training with various weight bearing, prosthetic training, modalities, and others.

ul>Intervention: Provide remote occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and interventions to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities. You will collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists to assess and implement appropriate treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide guidance to clients through virtual platforms.
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant must observe changes in the patients performance and behavior report these observations to the occupational therapist and adjust the therapy interventions accordingly to ensure continuous improvement. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides clear instructions and support to ensure that therapeutic practices are continued at home which is vital for the patients long-term recovery and independence.
