Strong Computer Skills (MS Office Suite – specifically with Outlook, Word, Excel), typing and data entry, medical terminology, answer phone, detail-oriented, quality focus, ability to prioritize and work within deadlines, excellent customer service skills, professionalism and interpersonal communication, ability to effectively communicate with patients and all medical staff, ability to work in a team environment, knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and ability to learn new processes as required. Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities.
