p>Responsibilities • Develop certification plans, compliance checklists, conformity inspection plans • Develop substantiation reports and test plans, reports for flammability and cabin safety • Draft certification presentations for all meetings and manage small ST/PMA projects for certification requirements, including data deliverables from suppliers and coordinating responses to inquiries, significant certification suits, and all workunes concerns • Identify applicable airworthiness requirements for proposed major design changes • Support the relationship with FAA regulatory agencies via project presentations • Interface with customers, suppliers, and other project stakeholders pertaining to certification of modification projects. Preferred • Knowledge of aircraft interiors • Experience as a certification engineer, design engineer, or substantiation engineer.
