This includes: • Framing • Stripping old paint • Preparation work for the surfaces • Applying filler • Using power and hand tools to sand surfaces for further finishing and painting • Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed • Building window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items • Carving and assembling furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated • Inspecting places and conducting repairs or maintenance • Building scaffolding and other construction structures.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged period of standing, bending, reaching, and working with hands Occasional periods of prolonged exposure to loud noises Ability to lift up to 75 pounds at times Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands as necessary Ability to hear and see to position and safety requirement levels Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals.
