p>Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) team in a renowned hospital in New York. This position offers an opportunity to work with critically ill patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgeries and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and respiratory therapists.

p>He/she will also help build a teaching curriculum on pediatric aspects of hospice care that will be of use to our hospice workers who are engaged in pediatric care through cross coverage or for when young adolescents are incorporated into adult hospice teams.

He/she will provide NP-appropriate service to patients enrolled in hospice and may also assist in staffing pediatric palliative care consultation services that function as a program of MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care.

The Nurse Practitioner for the Pulmonary Service works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing comprehensive and age appropriate direct care and follow up to a population of patients.
