Medical Assistant Qualifications: • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred • Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred • X-ray experience is a plus • Clinical care coordination or care management experience is ideal • Previous experience assisting or providing care to the geriatric patient population is preferred • Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of medical terminology • Previous experience working in an EMR; preferably athenahealth • Must be an effective communicator with excellent grammar and interpersonal skills • Exceptional customer service highly preferred • Reliable transportation is required • Bilingual English/Spanish is required • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
