Technical lead in Cost Controls, including budget management, forecasting, change management diligence / Owner Change Order quality, invoice review, accruals, and risk facilitation Analyze and communicate the projects' Project Controls Health (financial, change, and risk) to project and Design, Engineering and Construction leadership Identify project commercial risk mitigation opportunities in collaboration with the Schedule Lead, Delivery team, and XFN partners, and drive those opportunities into resolution Support the Preconstruction team in the review of General Contractor contracts & commercial terms, gathering of historical data, incorporation of master contract terms, communication, and management of finalized internal budget Provide support of Areas projects' cost forecasts, cash flow risks, and variances monthly/quarterly for communication to Site Leadership and downstream business partners Direct communication with Schedule Lead to ensure collaboration and alignment of project health between cost and schedule and overall project risk Approximately 25-50% travel to other Data Center sites and company offices10+ years of Construction Project Controls experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Equivalent Technical Field or related field experience Subject Matter Expert in Cost management, construction change orders, and risk management Experience in Earned Value Management or collection and analysis of resource data Experience in Data Center, Manufacturing, Infrastructure or Construction programs requiring complicated commissioning specifications Proficient in Oracle Unifier Demonstrated analytical, communication, problem solving, prioritization, organization and reporting skills Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Experience negotiating construction changes or complex construction claims Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to influence strategic direction Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Successful development and implementation of project controls strategies in a large organization Experience developing and driving actions or operational adjustments based on project controls performance metrics Experience leading complex project or program project controls among a large group of internal and external project stakeholdersMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
