h2>The role will report directly to the Area Director of Human Resources and is responsible for providing strategic support to associates and leaders in functional areas, including Associate Relations, Labor Relations, Compliance, Leaves of Absence and Onboarding. Partners with COEs to ensure all resources (Associate Handbook, Pre and Post Hire Paperwork, On-Site Postings, HRIS Configuration, wage scales, benefit rates, etc.) are updated and available for distribution.
Field positions will be exposed to various unfamiliar conditions where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn and which may include, but are not limited to: Conference venues (indoor and outdoor) manufacturing and warehouse plants, and other venues as directed by supervisor. The employee frequently is required to use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel, sit for long periods of time, stand frequently, bend, squat, reach and turn to access files and office equipment.
Generates and submits employee information changes regarding new hire, transfer, termination, compensation, benefit enrollment and employee demographic data updates through company prescribed workflows and systems. Manages the District college recruiting program by working with student talent sourcing programs to provide a consistent talent pool for project needs.

This position handles more complex employee relations matters than the Senior HR Generalist and escalates high-risk, legal, executive-level, enterprise-impact, or highly sensitive matters to the Senior HR Business Partner, VP, Employee Experience & Culture, CHRO, Legal, or other appropriate leadership. This role partners with managers and operational leaders on mid-level to more complex employee relations matters, manager coaching, performance management, investigations, policy application, employee relations trends, employee experience initiatives, and operational people needs.
