Provides career and professional coaching and job search assistance to undergraduate and graduate students in one-on-one, small group, or classroom settings; Delivers career and professional development programming under the direction of department leadership; Collects and reports student career and professional development metrics to determine programming success; Monitors trends and industry and job market changes along with employer demands in order to inform career and professional development activities; Assists with student workers as directed; Contributes and reviews content for social media and the virtual career center; Attends and participates in University and Career Center events as required; Performs requirements of the position maintaining professional ethics stated by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE); Performs other duties as assigned. Must have the ability to demonstrate advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); experience with software applications, such as Handshake, Adobe Creative Suite, and various contact management systems to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports as they pertain to the career development process is preferred.
