Candidates must have, but not limited to: Strong mechanical aptitude; Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and/or PPE procedures; Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical order of operations; Familiarity with OSHA compliance and safety protocols; Ability to read and understand manual contents and electrical diagrams as-built drawings; Understanding of electrical safety, including comfort with troubleshooting electrical components; Familiarity with shop tools, such as table saws, miter saws, circular saws, drill presses, and other similar tools and equipment. A successful incumbent recognizes, mitigates, and responds to hazards to ensure a healthy and safe program for all participants and provides general maintenance, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and gas /electric appliances and systems for all camp buildings including staff housing.
