Reporting to the Building Wiring Supervisor, the Building Wiring Technician is responsible for wiring installation in building enclosures according to specifications.

ul>Associate's Degree/trade school certificate in commercial heating, air conditioning and/or refrigeration and one year of experience repairing and installing commercial heating, air conditioning/refrigeration and electrical systems and equipment or graduation from high school or equivalency plus three (3) years of related experience.
Knowledge of HVAC and understanding heating cycle to include identifying components in heating system, understanding how each component works, diagnosing problems in the heating system using a gas pressure test and other devices for routine maintenance and troubleshooting and repair.
Responsibilities: As a Building Engineer with Hines, you will maintain basic operation and maintenance of all building equipment and systems by routinely reviewing operating conditions and established programs with Supervisor to understand and resolve any abnormal operating issues. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems including, but not limited to pumps, chillers, boilers, air compressors and air handling units.
Maintain thorough knowledge of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing property storage and management of hazardous materials, including solvents, flammables, caustics, and refrigerants. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, fire sprinkler systems, building controls, doors, windows, caulking and any other property issue.
