Key Responsibilities: ⢠Hire, lead, and manage a dynamic team to create an inclusive and collaborative work environment ⢠Monitor, evaluate, and provide regular feedback on employee growth and implementing improvement as needed ⢠Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives to maintain a motivated workforce - positively represent corporate communications to influence outcomes that support business strategies ⢠Ensure compliance with Allison Policies and manage employee relations matters as needed ⢠Participates in the selection, training, and development of new employees ⢠Manages personnel, material, and equipment safely and effectively ⢠Responsible for training, performance management, coaching, disciplinary, timekeeping/payroll, resource management, and overtime management for employees in assigned area ⢠Meets production cost, schedules, and quality requirements through the utilization of established manufacturing processes and methods ⢠Facilitates floor operations and removes barriers for supervisors and hourly employees to meet measurable objectives ⢠Implements and maintains Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) ⢠Operator Autonomous Maintenance execution, follow up and improvement ⢠Engagement on machine condition continuous improvement ⢠Lead OEE improvement across all areas ⢠Serve as a leader, trainer, and coach of lean and TPM principles ⢠Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization ⢠Complies with the terms of the labor agreement ⢠Senior supervisors may have additional duties including: ⢠Involvement in the training and onboarding of new supervisor hires in the plant ⢠May interact with internal & external stakeholders as needed ⢠Provide coverage across the plant in event that another supervisor is on PTO or leave. Qualifications: ⢠Required: Associate Degree and/or equivalent experience required ⢠Experience: Required: 1+ years prior Supervisory experience ⢠Preferred: 5+ years prior Supervisory experience.
