Typical projects include: fire protection engineering services for life safety, type of construction, height and area requirements, separation distances, fire rated construction, spray-applied fireproofing, firestopping, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, mass notification systems, clean agent fire suppression systems, base-wide fire alarm reporting systems, water distribution systems, hydraulic analysis, fire modeling, and performance-based designs of major size and complexity for use in government facilities, including multi-story office buildings, steam plants, hospitals, housing, manufacturing, training, and similar structures. Provide independent, timely and professional fire protection engineering support, services and consultation for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands, including minor works projects, specific projects, special projects, military construction (MILCON), demolition, maintenance, space utilization and facilities development.
