The Assistant Branch Manager serves as the Branch Manager's partner in driving all branch performance metrics including sales growth, member satisfaction, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

As the primary leader of all branch staff, the Branch Manager drives business development while developing high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. This role maintains ultimate accountability for member satisfaction, community relationships, and branch profitability while building organizational capability through leadership development.

Review environments and key business indicators within the district to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching to the operations and service management team to take action and achieve operational goals.

This high-impact role focuses on driving business development and sales, particularly with small businesses, while growing deposits, originating loans, and expanding client relationships through cross-selling additional services. 5+ years in banking, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role; prior sales or client relations experience, preferred.

The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible to ensure that the branch is appropriately staffed with employees that are trained to reasonably meet the needs of the member including ensuring appropriate staff coverage of all Credit Union products and services including but not limited to: depository, lending, online, mobile, safe deposit (where applicable), notary and medallion services. Must have strong leadership skills which include a proven track record of preparing and mentoring new leaders for the credit union, including demonstrated success in handling difficult situations.
