Medicaid Specialist Job Summary:
The Medicaid Specialist will help determine client eligibility for financial assistance through the Medicaid program through interactive interviewing and fact gathering for all out of state referrals with either no primary payor or special needs which will convert to Medicaid long-term care.
Assist in filing Medicaid applications for admissions admitting Medicaid Pending or anyone transitioning to Medicaid Pending at designated facilities with no available Business Office Manager.- Adherence to project schedule and client requirements; Labor Budget and As Sold Direct Labor Multiplier (DLM): Achieves or beats labor budgets.
- Serves as assigned client’s day-to-day contact; escalates strategic items to Program Manager (pricing, scope, disputes); supports upsell / cross-sell conversations; coordinates with Project Financial Analysts (PFA) and Project Coordinators (PC).
