ul>Maintains and improves benefits processes and documentation; Analyzes and validates data and develops operational metrics; Supports system enhancements and upgrades when opportunities arise; Partners with Payroll, IT, and vendors to resolve issues and improve workflows; Identifies opportunities to automate or streamline manual processes; Leads process improvement initiatives within existing system capabilities; Ensures timely and thorough processing of all benefit enrollments, terminations and changes; Leads and/or participates in the future implementation and administration of various HR systems and data feeds; Provides primary support for Benefits modules of the HR systems, including researching and resolving eligibility problems; Performs scheduled activities within the framework of day-to-day administration and biweekly HRIS Payroll lifecycle; Assists with configuration of plans, groups, eligibility rules, annual rate changes, evidence of insurability, passive events, notifications, open enrollment, departmental transfers, new hires, and life events; Works with the Finance Department to reconcile benefit provider invoices against employee elections/deductions in payroll; Performs other duties as assigned.
