Creates and participates in opportunities to serve as a public representative and image builder of Cox in the local community to network, develop, and maintain Coxs presence, e.g., promotes and/or attends non-profit events, serves as a member of the Chamber of Commerce and other local councils. Attends job-related training and informally remains current on technical information regarding Coxs telephony, data, video products and managed cloud offerings, and sales through completion of required/recommended training program.
The NSD will also provide clear direction, motivate the field team, build a healthy competitive environment among commercial field representatives, drive innovation & best practice sharing, and drive pragmatism with the goal to enhance our impact among appropriate customers and patients served. Lead a team of Regional Business Directors to implement sales force productivity initiatives including improving and evolving sales force competencies, design and execution of reward systems, sales force deployment strategies, customer relationship management, and talent development.

Essential Functions: Gains and consistently increases product knowledge through formal sales training; surgeon speaker programs, attends surgeries/operating room visits, and industry research.
