Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance in a safe and timely manner Develop and support proactive maintenance strategies to improve equipment uptime Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power distribution systems, wiring, transformers, and lighting systems Troubleshoot and maintain control systems including relays, sensors, motors, and automation components (photo eyes, limit switches, proximity sensors, servo drives, VFDs, encoders, etc.) Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC systems including ladder logic, I/O modules, CPU systems, and communication networks (Ethernet) Read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams Use testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics Mentor junior maintenance technicians and provide technical guidance Maintain compliance with all safety programs, policies, and procedures Work overtime, holidays, and rotating shifts as required Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Two-year Technical Mechatronics degree preferred Minimum 6 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience Skills & Qualifications Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Hands-on PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred) Ability to diagnose complex control systems using logical root-cause analysis Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control logic Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with 5S and safety-focused work environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Additional Requirements Must be able to work night shift schedule and overtime as needed Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence Ability to work under pressure while meeting production demands This position also involves mentoring junior technicians and collaborating across production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
