• Maintain all areas of the front desk; clean and organized
• Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Assists in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
• Complete daily checklist ensuring that all billing issues are resolved
• Ensure that rooms are listed in the computer as dirty in order for housekeeping to clean
• Assist in setting up breakfast daily
• Explain various hotel amenities such as free breakfast, fitness center, etc. to guests
• Documents any new commercial customer checking in so that a new account can possibly be opened
• Offer alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met
• Covers other areas of hotel as needed
• Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
• Document and pass along whenever a complaint is reported
• Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience
• High School diploma/GED required
• Previous experience in hospitality preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts
• Attention to detail and organized
• Knowledge of the hotel layout, all amenities offered, and all procedures & organization.
