Clinicians work with caregivers to change how youth function in their natural setting while following a specific model that promotes positive social behavior and decreases anti-social behavior. The MST (Multi-systemic Therapy) Mental Health Professional provides intensive home and community based therapy to families whose adolescents are displaying social, emotional and/or behavioral disorders.

MST Therapist

This position plays a critical role in engaging families, ensuring program fidelity to the Incredible Years evidence-based model, and supporting early identification of behavioral and emotional needs through caregiver education and skill-building. This role focuses on delivering caregiver-centered, prevention-based programming designed to strengthen social-emotional development and family resilience for children ages 0–8.

Incorporates understanding of the service system, including ongoing changes, into practice; Constructs the Therapeutic System; Establishes a meaningful Therapeutic Focus; Creates Key Growth Promoting Interpersonal Experience; Solidifies and Extends Changes; Creates effective networks inside and outside of the agency in order to reach mutual goals on behalf of client care; Incorporates understanding of the service system, including ongoing changes, into practice; Skillfully and professionally builds and nurtures a team partnership that supports effective Family Based treatment. Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in counseling psychology, social work or related behavioral health field; Minimum two (2) years’ experience working with children and families in a mental health, education, child welfare or juvenile justice system.

Valid state license to practice by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; a controlled substance registration certificate as issued by the drug enforcement administration of the United States Department of Justice; and all other registrations, certificates, licenses and permits as may be required to practice. Psychiatrist

The clinician provides a continuum of services, including intensive case management, system advocacy, information/referral, therapy (individual to child or adult, groups, family, and couples), and crisis intervention/stabilization. Clinicians provide intensive, home, school, and community-based therapy to children and adolescents displaying social, emotional and/or behavioral disorders and their families.

Mental Health Clinician

This includes providing family and group therapy with children 3-21 with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder; supporting the clinical team; completing intake assessments; providing a safe and structured environment that allows engagement in therapy; completing clinical documentation and outcomes monitoring; reviewing and utilizing clinical information pertaining to the client to inform treatment; actively communicating with family and systems of care regarding treatment; and, running parent workshops around relevant topics and completing comprehensive discharge plan for clients served. The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for coordinating, assessing, implementing and evaluating the behavioral healthcare needs of children, adolescents and families receiving outpatient services.

An Outpatient Mental Health Therapist is responsible for coordinating, assessing, implementing and evaluating the behavioral healthcare needs of children, adolescents and families receiving outpatient services. This includes provision of individual and family therapy, functions in consultative, collaborative and educational relationships with the primary care physician, staff psychiatrists and other professionals involved in client care.

CGRC’s Outpatient Services Program provides outpatient services that help children and adolescents with depression, anxiety, stress, anger, self-esteem, ADHD, bereavement or other emotional, social and behavioral difficulties. Evidence-based treatments such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, and The Incredible Years are also available.

Intern-Outpatient Therapist-Master Program Enrollee

The Professional Development intern will gain hands-on experience in developing training materials, marketing to prospective audiences, evaluating program effectiveness, and assisting with both in-person and virtual learning experiences for clinicians and educators. As the Professional Development intern, you will have the opportunity to: Observe and assist with facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions led by experienced educators.

Professional Development Intern

CGRC’s Outpatient Therapy Services (OPS) consist of individual, family and group therapy, psychological and psychiatric assessments and psychiatric medication services offered to children and adolescents. Individual, family and group therapy sessions often address anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, self-esteem, ADHD symptoms, grief and loss, communication difficulties, conflict resolution, and friendship skills.

Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, nursing, rehabilitative or activity therapy or related behavioral health field required; NOTE: Special Education is not accepted as behavioral health field; AND. CGRC’s Outpatient Therapy Services (OPS) consist of individual, family and group therapy, psychological and psychiatric assessments and psychiatric medication services offered to children and adolescents.

School Based Mental Health Outpatient Therapist

Design and deliver learning experiences that qualify for Continuing Education Credits (CEU) using multiple training methodologies based on sound instructional design principles to include traditional instructor-based classroom learning, virtual learning, e-learning courses, and other learning aids that promote an overall creative and interactive learning experience. Maintain CGRC’s ability to continue providing Continuing Education Credits (CEU) through all existing entities by completing necessary re-applications and making necessary licensing payments.
