DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A SUCCESSFUL TUFF CROSS DOCK SUPERVISOR?Customer Service & SalesConducts Site Checks as required, adhering to processes and proceduresPhotographs the site; ensure proper building fit on site; offers suggestions to customer on placement, etc; use markers for placement; notifies GM of leveling problemsProvides back-up coverage for the Cross Dock Sales & Design Consultant: answer phones, greet customers, collect customer leadsPerforms customer service duties: resolve warranty issuesObtain building permits from building departmentOperationsCommunicate to the GM regarding sales and activities at the Cross DockBuild schedules, including subcontractor scheduling with the Assistant Manager/Production Manager/Scheduling CoordinatorParticipates in identifying qualified subcontractors for the Cross Dock location; maintain relationships with the subcontractorsPerforms customer service warranty repair tasks on customer sitesReceives and unloads kits from the factory storeOversees and coordinates customer builds, home show events, sales floor and incoming sales calls, site inspections, customer permits, warranty callsperforms quality control inspectionsInspects and maintains displays, customer repairsResponsible for the cleanliness of the Cross Dock, ensures tools and equipment are secured, inventoried, maintainedPerforms monthly cycle counts and ongoing inventory managementOversees Cross Dock fleet and DOT policies are adhered toSupervisors safety aspects of the Cross Dock as required by OSHA and Tuff ShedSKILLS & EXPERIENCEAbility to work independently in a self-directed setting and with minimal supervisionDetail oriented and the ability to organize workload, along with strong follow-up, analytical, problem-solving, reasoning, and sound decision-making skillsHands-on computer skills in MS Office Suite and Internet applications required; experience in utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software including, Salesforce.com or similar systems as highly preferredAbility to solve problems using sound logic and good business judgmentAbility to use arithmetic, mathematical, accounting, and financial tools as they apply to Tuff Shed businessAbility to read, write and understand instructions given orally, in writing and/or in diagram formAbility to prepare written correspondence and reports that create a professional image for Tuff ShedAbility to effectively communicate at all levels, including customers, business partners, suppliers, co-workers, managers, and the general publicMust have a valid driver's license and acceptable MVRDOT, OSHA, and employment law knowledge highly preferredMust be able to successfully complete Tuff Shed Forklift CertificationWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?An opportunity to join a successful company and be part of the growth of the team!
