ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist the head coach as directed with the following: ā¢ Organize and direct coaching staff ā¢ Collecting physical examination forms ā¢ Collecting insurance release forms ā¢ Reporting injuries to school nurse ā¢ Taking inventory and submitting a list of equipment needs ā¢ Checking out and collecting all equipment ā¢ Keeping accurate records and reports of lost or stolen equipment ā¢ Providing a roster of players ā¢ Providing the Athletic Director a list of athletes who are to receive awards at the end of the season and plan the awards ceremony ā¢ Insuring proper team conduct on trips and during contests ā¢ Knowing all rules pertaining to his or her sport ā¢ Treating of injuries or attending to athletes ā¢ Cleaning and Maintenance of equipment and uniforms ā¢ Organizing practice sessions. With Head Start, preschools, 28 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, and 5 college and career academies, high schools, we are the fifth largest district in the state of Kansas and our student population is approximately 56% Hispanic, 24% African American, 9% White, and 6% Asian.
