Participate in on-going departmental training and cross-training to ensure an understanding of the college programs, curriculum, graduation requirements, policies, and procedures, and resources and services available to students, coordinating with staff in the areas of financial aid, registration and admission, and other enrollment management services. The new Academic Advisor will advise a diverse population of students and provide holistic support, individually and in groups for an assigned caseload of students in the areas of academic advising, life skills development, student success development, career planning, and financial literacy.
