Serves to support the charge nurse and other nurse leaders on the unit to promote the effective running of the care delivery system and ensures that the clinical processes of care are working as intended serves as a resource for all staff and accepts additional responsibilities in the nurse managers absence. Required Minimum Skills: Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building; desires to see progressive nursing management roles and enjoys/seeks opportunities to coach and mentor others.

May be asked to serve as a preceptor for onboarding Medical Assistants/students and is an exemplary role model for all staff or students for all disciplines to ensure that there is a current and future qualified workforce; modeling professionalism and creating a healthy work environment.
Additional License(s) and Certification(s): Must have successfully passed a Medical Assistant credentialing body examination (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT) with current and maintained Medical Assistant Credential Required Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required Must complete the required OSHA training course for operators of radiology equipment within 60 Days Required. Required Minimum Experience: Work experience in a practice setting Preferred Specific experience in practice specialty may Required Radiology experience (and/or will provide training within first sixty days) Preferred Phlebotomy certification (and/or will provide training within first sixty days) Preferred.
