p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ā¢ Demonstrated competency in all phases of architectural lighting ā¢ Expert knowledge of working drawings and procedures ā¢ Knowledge of electrical principles as they relate to artificial lighting ā¢ Intermediate knowledge of lighting control systems, energy codes, and energy-efficient design principles ā¢ Proven ability to work collaboratively ā¢ Intermediate presentation and graphic communication skills ā¢ Advanced skills and/or knowledge in the following areas: ā¢ Knowledge of lighting products ā¢ Sketching and rendering skills ā¢ Revit skills, a plus ā¢ Lighting calc skills (AGI132, Elumtools or similar) ā¢ Adobe Create Suite skills ā¢ Verbal and written communication skills.
Other responsibilities include:
ā¢ Actively participates in and oversees the design, development and production of Lighting Designs ā¢ Prepares lighting plans, lighting schedules, specifications, sections, elevations and drawing packages ā¢ Creates innovative, creative and complete design concepts and may present to clients ā¢ Mentors the work of Junior and Intermediate Lighting Designers.
