Job Duties • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics dashboards, and other BI solutions • Design and develop Tableau dashboard solutions using Sybase/Big Data as backend technologies • Integrate data from various sources into Tableau • Conduct data cleansing, blending, and aggregation to prepare datasets for visualization • Monitor and improve Tableau dashboard and data source performance to ensure fast load times and optimal user experience • Optimize Tableau data extracts for efficient data retrieval • Maintain, test, and schedule Tableau extract refreshes • Develop trigger-based automation processes for Tableau extract refreshes, handling large (TB) volumes of data • Create scripts to automate Tableau extract refreshes • Assist with prioritization of bugs, feature enhancements, and architectural improvements • Design Tableau APIs as required • Provide technical expertise in architecture, design, and implementation • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, visualization accuracy, and dashboard performance • Fine-tune SQL queries for maximum efficiency and performance • Conduct unit testing and develop database queries to analyze defects and troubleshoot issues • Manage Tableau Server administration on Linux, including server upgrades and installations • Manage end-to-end Tableau content deployments using automated solutions • Identify automation opportunities to improve business processes
