Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Political Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • Minimum two years of on-air anchoring and/or reporting experience • Strong political reporting interest and experience preferred • Excellent news judgment and deep understanding of local, state, and national issues • Superior on-air presence with strong live-shot experience • Excellent writing, copy editing, and research skills • Ability to work well under deadline pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficiency with newsroom technology and production systems • Strong communication skills with the ability to ad-lib when required • Valid driver's license with a good driving record • Flexibility to work varying schedules as news demands.
