Responsibilities<ul><li>Facilitate Scrum events: Organize and lead all Scrum ceremonies, including the Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective.</li><li>Remove impediments: Identify and help resolve any obstacles or issues that slow down the development team.</li><li>Coach the team: Train and mentor the team on Scrum theory, practices, and agile principles to foster self-organization and continuous improvement.</li><li>Support the Product Owner: Work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-managed and understood by the development team.</li><li>Promote communication: Ensure effective communication within the Scrum team and between the team and stakeholders.</li><li>Responsible for managing agile board (ADO), including agile metrics (e.g. sprint burndowns/burn-ups, work planned vs completed, velocity, etc.) and for keeping agile board in good working order</li><li>Reporting: Regular analysis of burndown charts, communicating work planned vs work completed by sprint, team velocity and other portfolio reporting to understand what gets built and at what cadence.</li></ul>Required working experience & education<ul><li>3+ years' experience with Agile as a Scrum Master (including scrum techniques and artifacts such as Scrum, Kanban, user stories, backlogs, Scrum/Kanban boards, sprint planning, retrospectives, burndown metrics, velocity).</li><li>Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge and experience of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project</li><li>A proven track record of successfully implementing projects using Agile methodologies.</li><li>Agile Certifications required (CSM, PSM, etc)</li><li>Experience working with project teams that contain Developers, IT Business Analysts, Architects, Quality Assurance, Business Product Owners, Project Sponsors, etc.</li><li>Experience in coordinating with multiple extended teams</li></ul>Technical <ul><li>Agile Project Management tools such as Azure DevOps, Rally, Jira, etc.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Project, Powerpoint, Excel, Word</li></ul></div>
