Minimum Qualifications: ⢠Masters degree in business statistics, supply chain management, operations management, operations research, or another related field from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience ⢠Proficiency with common office applications, e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint ⢠Ability to utilize online learning management systems, specifically Canvas, for content delivery ⢠Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU ⢠Availability and commitment to teach at the scheduled meeting times and in the designated instructional modalities for the assigned courses ⢠Ability to work independently and meet instructional deadlines. ⢠Terminal degree, PhD, DBA, etc., in business statistics, supply chain management, operations management, operations research, or another related field ⢠Prior experience in teaching course topics and using modalities relevant to the assigned courses ⢠Experience developing or revising course materials, including cases, projects, or simulations ⢠Familiarity with textbooks and instructional materials commonly used for comparable courses or currently being used by the department ⢠Ability to integrate Artificial Intelligence tools, e.g., Microsoft Copilot, into course materials and assignments ⢠Evidence of teaching effectiveness, e.g., student evaluations, teaching awards, etc.
