Day-to-day food service functions may include but are not limited to: preparing foods, serving foods, putting away foods, dishwashing, cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, and mopping of kitchen floors, emptying garbage, cleaning walls, fans, carts, and cupboards, racks. Assume the responsibility for maintaining your professional competence through participation in programs of continuing education (i.e., departmental meeting, inservices, seminars, training programs, etc.).
