A professional accounting designation (CA, CPA); Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting, and transaction services, namely financial due diligence and/or with a clear grasp of the M&A lifecycle; Superior verbal and written communication skills, in both English and French is essential; Very strong in Excel and good working knowledge of PowerPoint; Able to advise clients on M & A and good business acumen; Strong report writing and project management skills; Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the target business, its industry and its key drivers; Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to professional and client service excellence; Demonstrated track record of delivering high quality work; Canadian travel required (up to 20%) and occasional international travel. In addition, candidates will be expected to leverage technical and organizational skills to coordinate and manage full service diligence teams, liaising and building relationships with financial advisors, investments banks, legal advisors, corporate lenders, investors and other stakeholders on an agreed scope of work.
