p>Key activities include: ā¢ Adhere to INEOS Pigments 20 principles of process and Behavioral Safety and Life Saving Rules ā¢ Manage month-end close activities, including preparation, reviewing, and posting of journal entries ā¢ Monitor record and review daily financial transactions in the general ledger related to capital leases, freight logistics, and other corporate expenses ā¢ Support audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and providing clear explanations ā¢ Research accounting issues and coordinate appropriate solutions in collaboration with management and stakeholders ā¢ Complete assigned special projects accurately, timely, and in accordance with established objectives ā¢ Participate in cross-functional training to support other areas of the finance team, including but not limited to budgeting and forecasting, inventory analysis, and other related financial processes.
You should possess:
ā¢ A Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field ā¢ 4 years of accounting experience preferred ā¢ Familiarity with accounting software, e.g., SAP ā¢ Advanced Excel skills ā¢ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills ā¢ Attention to detail and accuracy ā¢ Effective communication and people skills ā¢ Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication ā¢ Ability to formally and informally present financial information to diverse non-financial work groups ā¢ Solid mathematical and financial acumen ā¢ Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills ā¢ SAP and HFM experience desired ā¢ Experience in Capital Accounting and Fixed Assets a plus.
