What you will be doing: • Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with businesses in EJ communities to support their participation in BGE's energy efficiency programs • Cultivating new relationships and partnerships with service providers and local organizations who support EJ communities to promote program awareness and adoption • Identifying barriers to participation and developing successful, community-relevant resolutions • Preparing and presenting targeted presentations that promote program awareness • Collaborating with community-based organizations on the preparation and delivery of energy-related community events that promote energy education, program awareness, and community support • Utilizing project management and communications Best Practices to support customers and service providers throughout their energy efficiency journey • Assisting program managers with the development and implementation of promotional strategies • Preparing client-facing status reports that document performance and activities related to program goals, contractor/consultant participation, and pipeline management • Supporting internal operations with tasks such as reporting, application review, forecasting, marketing development, and client support. What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): • Bachelor's degree in (Business Admin, Energy, Communication or related field) (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education) • 1+ years of experience in community engagement, with a preferred focus on working with individuals and groups from under-resourced communities • Proven fluency in English • Must have a valid driver's license, an operational vehicle for transportation (or regular access to a vehicle), and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
