Purpose Statement:

Extra-curricular activities are a vital extension of the student experience, fostering growth in skill development, positive character traits, and meaningful relationships. As an Assistant Wrestling Coach, you will support the head coach in inspiring, motivating, and guiding students while helping to oversee all aspects of the wrestling program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing practice schedules, strategies, and event planning.
• Support the instruction of wrestling-specific skills and techniques to student-athletes.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive character traits.
• Collaborate with the head coach and other staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program.
• Help build strong, supportive relationships with students, staff, and the community.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of at least 60 college credit hours prior to coaching.
