Program Support Specialist (PSS) to join our client’s workforce services team in Fort Worth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and enjoys combining
customer service, program support, compliance, and administrative coordination. You will play an important role in keeping workforce programs running smoothly while supporting customers and staff throughout the service process.
Position Details:- Pay: $21.00 per hour
- Location: Fort Worth, TX 76119
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Work Environment: Onsite, professional office setting
- Employment: Full-time
What You'll Do:
As a Program Support Specialist, you will help ensure workforce services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with program requirements.
Responsibilities include:- Review and monitor compliance reports to ensure program requirements are met
- Track customer contacts, communications, participation, and required activities
- Coordinate required customer participation hours and maintain accurate case documentation
- Participate in customer hearings and submit required documentation to appropriate parties
- Provide technical and operational support to workforce program staff and customers
- Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date records
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance workforce services
- Ensure assigned tasks and documentation are completed accurately and on time
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders
- Provide additional operational support as needed
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, highly organized, and comfortable working with detailed program requirements and customer information.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED required
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of workforce development programs or related services preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, word processing, and general computer applications
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate formal documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and program requirements
- Ability to build effective working relationships with coworkers, management, stakeholders, and the public
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and safe driving record required
Additional Requirements:- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday
- Ability to perform computer and documentation-based work in an office environment
- Occasional local travel and driving may be required
- Flexibility to work adjusted hours when operational needs require
