Wok Cook / Prep Cook (Chinese Kitchen), Dunwoody

From our highly efficient 800-square-foot kitchen in the Dunwoody area, our team produces hundreds of freshly prepared meals each hour to serve offices, medical centers, schools, and community organizations across Metro Atlanta. Our modern ordering systems, dedicated delivery operations, and focus on efficiency allow organizations to receive fresh meals quickly and reliably.

Location: Dunwoody, GA, 4957 Winters Chapel Rd, Suite B. We hire within about a 40-minute drive (no traffic).

Job type: Full time or part time (W-2). Shifts: weekday lunch and dinner, weekends as scheduled; weekly schedule posted in advance.

Pay: $15 per hour (W-2). Overtime is paid at 1.5x after 40 hours in a week.

About the job

We run a busy Chinese-American kitchen that cooks for walk-in, to-go, delivery and corporate catering orders. You will prep, cook on the wok line, and help pack catering orders.

What you'll do

• Prep vegetables, proteins, sauces and rice to our recipes and portion sizes.
• Cook on the wok or line and keep up with order tickets during the lunch and dinner rush.
• Pack catering trays and to-go orders accurately.
• Keep your station clean, labeled and stocked; follow food-safety and temperature rules.
• Receive and store deliveries, and help with opening and closing duties.

Required

• Able to work weekday and weekend lunch or dinner shifts as scheduled.
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 40 lb.
• Reliable transportation to Dunwoody; live within about a 40-minute drive.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.

Preferred: experience on a wok or line in a Chinese or Asian kitchen, good knife skills, food handler card (preferred, not required). We will train the right person for prep (entry-level welcome for prep).
