Job Title: Wind Service Sales Manager
Job Description Summary: Ensures the implementation of the sales strategy, guidelines and targets in selling specific parts of Flender's wind service product portfolio to customers by combining and leveraging industry knowledge, specialized product and application know how, in order to increase sales and to achieve defined commercial targets.
Job Description: The Wind Service Sales Manager is responsible for implementation of Sales guidelines and sets the sales targets for the assigned sales organization. This is a key leadership role in developing Flender's sales budgets and growth forecasts, aligned with the sales strategy of the Wind Service Business Unit. This individual manages the completion of budgets and regular sales reporting. They will cooperate with Marketing, Product Management and Order Management in matters of strategic and tactical product and service positioning. He will Initiate and contribute to planning of customer related product development measures or the setup of customer related projects and support strategic key customers' business development. Manages assigned organizational team and leads and/or coordinates dedicated staff.
As the Wind Service Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire sales team for Wind Gearboxes, Generators, Coupling and Main Shaft repairs. The duties include hiring and training sales staff, relaying information from upper management to the sales team about sales quotas and strengthening and advancing customer relationships in the industry.

Required/Preferred Knowledge Skills, Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred education would be in Mechanical Engineering.
Min. (10) Years Sales Management Experience; preferably in Wind Turbines, gearbox or power transmission fields.
Possess a strong network in the wind industry
Demonstrated experience in contact negotiation and contract review
Ability to manage complex partner relationships and navigate matrixed sales environments
Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales reporting Possess technical knowledge of industrial equipment, preferably gearboxes.
Ability to analyze customer's technical specifications, mechanical drawings, dimensional tolerancing and data comprehension.
Team player with ability to perform and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.
Strong leadership and people management skills a must.
Good communications skills to communicate with internal and external customers effectively and accurately.
Good coaching and business development skills.
Strong capability in strategic planning and implementation.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office tools, Outlook, SAP (a plus) & Team Center (a plus).
Familiarity with AGMA, ANSI, ISO, DIN and ASME standards.
