WRA is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our team in the Baltimore office. The ideal candidate will have 11 to 15 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality projects across both public and private sectors. A Maryland PE license is required.
Responsibilities
Lead and support the planning, analysis, design, and permitting of water resources projects, including:
Stormwater management
Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
Dam and embankment evaluation and breach modeling
Floodplain studies
Erosion and sediment control
Prepare engineering plans, reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
Manage and mentor junior engineering staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Conduct field investigations and site assessments.
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist with proposal development and business development initiatives.

The expected compensation range for this position is $140,000.00 - $215,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
