    Join our field team supporting Wilson and Williamson Counties in Middle Tennessee

    Every valve you inspect and every pump you restore helps keep neighborhoods safe and functioning. As a Wastewater Collection Systems Maintenance Specialist, you’ll be the front line for decentralized collection and treatment infrastructure, ensuring reliable service in all conditions.

    Your impact

    • Keep equipment operational: operate, maintain, and repair pumps, motors, and valves.
    • Diagnose fast: troubleshoot malfunctions and repair leaks or failures without delay.
    • Ensure safe digs: perform line locates in accordance with Tennessee 811 guidelines.
    • Verify performance: complete tank inspections and scheduled treatment site visits.
    • Balance systems: monitor meters and gauges to maintain proper operating conditions.
    • Strengthen the network: assist with collection system maintenance and repairs.
    • Serve the field: respond to service calls with professionalism and urgency.
    • Own the records: document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.

    What it takes

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Wastewater BNS/Collection systems license required after 1 year.
    • Experience with decentralized wastewater collection and treatment is a plus, not a must.
    • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude and familiarity with wastewater processes.
    • Ability to operate diverse equipment safely; strong troubleshooting capability.
    • Knowledge of safety procedures and applicable regulations.

    • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather with some heavy lifting.
    • Utilizes company-provided vehicle and cell phone for field assignments.

    Support and structure

    Works under supervision with daily communications with the Maintenance Supervisor.
