We are seeking a Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Program Manager to join our Projects team in the Middle East. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan''s Purse are to help people in Jesus'' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of WASH Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
Lead strategic WASH programming by developing innovative, locally appropriate solutions to WASH gaps that reflect community norms, program priorities, and available resources.
Provide faithful stewardship of program resources, serving as primary budget holder and ensuring funds are managed responsibly and spent according to approved budgets and Samaritan''s Purse policies.
Provide spiritual and professional leadership to the WASH team, recruiting, supervising, training, developing, and evaluating staff while fostering a Christ-centered culture of excellence and service.
Ensure technical and operational excellence by representing WASH in procurement tender committees, partnering with Global Technical Advisors to meet global humanitarian and development standards, and coordinating with Monitoring and Evaluation, HR, Finance, Security, and Logistics to follow Samaritan''s Purse policies and procedures.
Strengthen program accountability and impact through clear WASH reports, proposals, and standard operating procedures, while directly supervising four non-supervisory and one supervisory employee and carrying out all related personnel responsibilities.

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
Education: Bachelor''s degree from a four-year university in engineering, public health, international development, or a related field with a minimum of two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven management experience and experience living and working in Middle Eastern cultures are preferred.
Ability to manage projects across various sectors, including proposal writing, program development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation, while maintaining strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to build strong, collaborative teams and foster a spirit of unity while effectively interacting with people from diverse ethnic, linguistic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Ability to remain flexible, adaptable, and solution-oriented while working effectively under pressure and in difficult conditions, demonstrating sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and spoken English, prepare routine reports and correspondence, and effectively use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to support program operations.
