    JOB SUMMARY:

     

    The Warehouse Specialist Supervisor oversee the storage and distribution operations directing employees engaged in receiving, storing, issue, shipment and distribution of materials, equipment, and commodities using automated and manual material handling equipment, devices, and systems. Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected or actual workload. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW work schedules, methods, policies, and procedures established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager. Redirects resources to accomplish work demands and meet APLs and other performance metrics. Assists with the planning of work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, staffing and other resource needs, and provides recommendations to ensure accurate, timely completion of work activities. Uses WMS and other Government and company furnished data systems to perform PWS and company requirements.

     

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Understand and meet established productivity and quality control goals associated with assigned functional area / process.
    2. Ability to allocate resources (labor, equipment, supplies) to effectively meet mission requirements.
    3. Follow established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Job Breakdown sheets (JBS), Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards.
    4. Adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures.
    5. Ability to use e-mail to receive and disseminate workload tasks and information.
    6. Ability to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers, site management and CGA regarding operations and policies at the Distribution Center.
    7. Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
    8. Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract Compliance Plan, Storage Plan and workload requirements.
