We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Center Manager to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all distribution center activities, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role is essential in driving operational excellence and meeting our business objectives. As a Distribution Center Manager, you will be expected to lead with a hands-on approach and a keen focus on all aspects of the distribution center, including inventory management, logistics, and team leadership. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all operational activities of the distribution center, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure inventory control procedures are followed.
• Utilize NetSuite ERP system to manage inventory, track shipments, and generate reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, and shipping.
• Foster a positive culture within the distribution center, promoting accountability, open communication, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and manage performance metrics and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding warehousing, distribution, and employee safety.
• Handle consumer goods with care and maintain high quality standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings, provide coaching and feedback, and set performance goals for team members.
• Manage relationships with external logistics providers and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution center management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic approach to challenges.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management and distribution processes.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team, fostering a positive and accountable culture.
• Experience in managing consumer goods.
• Bilingual, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding warehousing and distribution.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field is preferred.
