Description

Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

Pay: $18.50 $19.00/hr
Contract: 6 months
Shift: 1st Shift

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to support daily distribution center operations, including receiving, picking, packing, stocking, and shipping orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload freight using a forklift/PIT equipment
Receive, break down, and stock incoming products
Pick orders using an RF scanner
Audit orders using a computer
Verify items, lot numbers, quantities, and product condition
Perform daily equipment inspections
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures and Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements:

Previous distribution/warehouse experience required
Basic computer and math skills
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work overtime, sometimes with same-day notice
High school education required
Must be able to operate/become licensed on PIT equipment
Cold-chain experience is a plus

Work Environment:

Must be comfortable working in temperatures as low as -24 F
Work around moving warehouse equipment
PPE required, including safety shoes, gloves, cold-weather gear, safety vest, and other equipment as needed
Position involves lifting, walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
