Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn warehouse processes, company procedures, and work instructions (SOPs/WIs).

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment environment required.
• Experience coordinating daily workflow, inventory movement, or order fulfillment activities.
• Ability to monitor productivity, track performance metrics, and support operational goals.
• Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory software preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Experience training and mentoring new warehouse associates.
• Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
• Familiarity with KPI tracking, production reporting, and operational performance metrics.
• Leadership or team lead experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting productivity goals.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required by daily operations.
• Able to work safely around warehouse equipment and report potential safety concerns.

Job Duties

• Coordinate daily order processing with allocators to ensure FIFO inventory procedures are followed.
• Train and onboard new associates using standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs).
• Track daily production numbers and maintain accurate operational records.
• Record and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support productivity and quality goals.
• Observe work performance, provide guidance, and communicate operational updates to supervisors.
• Identify, address, and report safety concerns to promote a safe work environment.
• Support employee engagement through effective communication and teamwork.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage workflow and reporting.

What You Will Do

As a Warehouse Lead you will receive, pick, pack, sort, stage, load, unload, and organize products throughout warehouse operations. You will verify inventory, prepare shipments, maintain accurate product locations, support order fulfillment, assist with inventory counts, and help ensure efficient warehouse operations while following established safety procedures.

A Warehouse Lead contributes to warehouse operations by handling inventory, preparing shipments, and supporting accurate order fulfillment. This position requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently throughout changing operational demands.

The Warehouse Lead supports receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory management while maintaining safe work practices and efficient product movement throughout the warehouse.
